I have a 1996 windstar...when I use my air conditioner..it seems like it is freezing my steering column?

If anyone is having this problem too..please help me out...not sure why it is doing this or if anyone has this problem too

  1. your fan belt is loose or wore out


  2. sounds like your ac compressor on your engine is putting too much load on your motor, thus causing your rpm's to drop making your power steering pump put out less fluid for your steering
