Have changed the oxygen sensor, fuel filter, and the coil packs. The check engine light was on but has gone off. It feels like the car can't get enough gas. If anyone has had this problem or has a suggestion please let me know.

  1. Transmission problems.

  2. I would check the mass air flow sensor and the throttle position sensor.  The throttle position sensors are know to fail especially this old.  The mass air flow sensor can cause the same issues.  If you are not the original owner even check that it is not installed backwards, there is an arrow on the sensor pointing which way it should be installed.

  3. terrible cars get rid of it.
