The oil is full too. Any thoughts on what would make it stop all of a sudden. The battery is brand new and the ski has power. When I try to start it, it wants to run but wont.

  1. It could be there is too much water in the engine area.  Try and get it out of the water and pull the plugs to let the water drain out.

  2. There are a couple of possibilities of what might be causing the problem.  Check to make sure your spark plugs aren't fouled and your getting a good spark from them. If the plugs are ok, then you most likely have a fuel problem.  From what you described how it was running, it  sounds like the most likely cause is  stale or contaminated gas.  If it is more than 3 months old, it could be too stale to run the engine properly.  Other possible causes are the gas filter could be clogged, or water may have gotten in your system, or your carb jets are clogged.  I'd try draining your fuel tank and adding fresh gas, then if that doesn't work, change the fuel filter, if that doesn't do it rebuild the carbs.
