I have a 1999 malibu the break light wont go off i ordered a senser to change it out but in the mean time?

how do i reset it in the fuse box theres no reset button so i can clear the panel

those brake light units are adjustable, maybe thats all it needs.

most of the time its the switch under the dash at the top of the brake pedal most offen its made of plastic and it slip ,,, is easy to replace and cheap

look at your brake switch. it is under the pedal and when you push on the pedal it turns the lights on. i bet it is stuck on the on position. the only way to cure that permanently is to replace it.
