that way the hitch would be raised 4" instead of dropped 4" and the raise is about where it needs to be. Is there any harm in turning the hitch to where it is raised instead of lowered?

  1. Absolutely, many people need to do this. the other option is buy a hitch that is raised rather than drops.

  2. Yes and I have done it many times and it works prefect.

  3. its  fine to do  but why not just get the straight receiver for a few bucks and keep everything safe

  4. if its a 2" square receiver then yes they can be turned to provide either a 4" drop or a 4" raise. if 4" does not provide you with the proper height then there are many different sizes available.

  5. I would think it'd be fine, as long as you arent hauling bulldozers. lol
