I have a 200 cc enduro bike honda replica?

Question

i have changed the spark plug bought a new battery and has an electric starter but when i press it to start it doesnt want to start but after several tries it starts and then once the motor is running hot and then i can turn it off and on with no problem but once it is cooled off it wont start again after several tries what seems to be the problem i have no idea i was thinking the air filter the bike has been in storage since 2006 purchased in 2005 any information would be helpful thanks.

are you using the choke when you try to start it while cold?

does it have any running problems while hot?

my best guess is actually that there is either corrosion on the terminals, the connections aren't tight enough or you didn't charge the battery before putting it in....
