  1. if the thermostat is in right and the right one, (they can be put in backwards) then check the water pump, that's the next in line.  the other possibility is that one of your hoses is clogged.

  2. bad radiator cap

turbine in water pump not turning on shaft

radiator hose too soft, and sucking closed

    thermostat in backwards

timing belt not installed correctly causing cam timing to be off

wrong head gasket blocking water passages

water passages in head or block, clogged with rust

my guess would be thermostat not opening....either you got a bad one, it's in backwards, or the gasket is keeping it from opening....

  3. Try a new water pump. It sounds like the water is not circulating.

  4. Did you bleed the system correctly? Sometime there is a bleeder s***w where the lower hose connects to the water pump and you need to bleed all the air our or it just gravitates and will cause overheating.

  5. Did you replace the water pump?

Please don't get upset with me, is the thermostat in right. I only ask because I have put them in wrong.
