I have a 2000 dodge durango. Red air bag light is lit on the dash? Keeps coming on and off? Not sure why?

  1. your airbag WILL go off if in an accident, when that light is on, but the light can be for anything from a clockspring, to a seat belt tensioner, but yeah, you will need a DRBIII to know exactly what it is, Every dodge, chrysler dealership has one, you just have to pay for diagnosis, which is usually 1 hour,  


  2. You need to get that checked right away.

  3. When that light is on it means your airbag will not deploy if you are in an accident. You probably have a loose connection. Get it checked by your repairman.  

  4. Call a Dodge dealership, they will know why.
