Sounds like you may have a little "trash" in the tranny; ( usually a little sliver of metal, or rubber ) Change the filter, and fluid ! ( leave the fluid level about 8 oz. below FULL mark ) . With eng. running, 0perate the tranny between Reverse, and Low, 10 or 12 times. If problem is still there, go to Auto-Zone and get a bottle of trans. treatment, and put 8 oz. in.Drive the vehicle for a few days, and see if it clears up. If NOT, you're going to have to take it to a tranny specialist .

Best you get it in for service.. sounds like it might have a bad modulator valve or bad vacuum to it. I'd check the fluid as well.. Each time it sounds like its going out of gear and may be slipping it is burning up the clutches. Fluid it checked with the motor running, the motor up to operating temperature and the shifter in park. The add mark is usually 1 pint. the fluid comes in 1 quart (2 pints) containers.
