I drained the master cylinder doing brake flush. Now I have no pedal at all. The master is o.k. I have been bleeding the system now for about 12 hours utilizing gravity bleeding. Any help?

  1. did you bleed the lines the right way? start at the wheel that is farther away from the master cylinder first, like right rear, left rear, right front , then left. front.keep bleeding it, it could have a air pocket in the lines.

  2. Ahh !! The time you would have saved by getting a repair manual for $20-$30 , It would have given you instructions on the correct way to bleed your Jags ABS system. You can`t just gravity bleed it. Find out which of the ABS systems you have , and follow the multi step method involved. Now that you have completely screwed it up. Or better yet , let the people that know how the system works fix it , cause to tell you the truth , If you miss or jump one step you have to start all over. And you start at the ABS system , NOT ! at the wheels. After all, you own a Jag . It wouldn`t have been as expensive to let a real mechanic at the dealer do it as it will be now. Sorry about your luck, but you shouldn`t play with your brakes if you don`t know what you are doing.
