When I put the brakes on, there is a noise kind of like a grinding sound and it feels like the car doesn't want to stop. I need to know if they may need replacing.

  1. non-stop issues are most commonly associated with brakes in disrepair.  Unless you are all highway miles with little braking, stop and go city driving may wear out the brakes in 30-40K miles easy, or less depending on weight load, etc...

  2. it sounds like your brakes are worn down to bare metal on it take it and have them checked if the are its going to cost to get them repaired, anytime you hear sound from the brakes get them checked don't wait around, the longer you drive it the more it will cost to repair it,good luck.

  3. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Do it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your pads are worn out, This can get you into a collision real quick. You can no longer  stop in the same distance as before.

You may also now need the rotors turned!

  4. YES OF COARSE THE GRINDING SOUBD IS PROBLY METAL TO METAL AS WE MEK-N-IKS WOULD SAY I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING NEW PADS FRONT AND REAR ONLY ABOUT 30.00 BUCKS EACH SET
