I have a 2003 Saturn Ion, when I tried to start it a security light came on, and it won't click over.?

I tried to start the car and it just makes a clicky noise. The drive shaft won't move and a security light is on. It's a beautiful sunny day in NJ and I don't mind walking but any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

The ignition seitch needs to be replaced.  If you let it sit with the key on for ten minutes it may decide to start.  If it does get to your saturn dealer and have them check it out, even though i know already its going to need an ignition switch.
