I have a 2003 dodge 2500 diesel 4x4:the gear selector light only comes on in park and n,the trany won't shift

Question

I took my truck to the Dodge dealer and they don't know why the little light on the gear selector is not working and the transmission will not shift. It acts like it's in second gear and won't shift up or down .They changed the cluster in the dash but did no good,they check a senser behand the trany oil pan;tested good ! They checked voltages at cluster and two wires that do something pertaining to the shifting ' all good .They don't know what to do next !

you need to find another dealer or a really good transmission shop when  a dealer cant find the problem its time  to find another dealer,their suppose to have highly trained techs to deal with this sort of problem,good luck.

Take it to a transmission shop or another Dodge dealer, these guys obviously don't know what they're doing.
