I have a 2006 325i i want to install subs i was wondering if i could leave stock head unit and install ?

yea just buy a line in converter from best buy or walmart and just hook the unit to ur factory speakers the unit has 3 wires coming off of it 2 for speakers and 1 for remote wire for amp and there are 2 female rca wires coming out of the box to hook the rca wires of the amp to

if you take out the old radio you can put it back in

you will need a "line output converter" to give your factory radio a set of RCA outputs to hook the amp up to, here are some http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i331_...

you will find that the factory radio does not give you much control over your audio settings and the sound quality from those "LOCs" is not that hot so it would be best if you upgraded the radio
