I have a 2007 tahoe and want to add xm to my factory radio direct connection like factory is ther anything???

I do not have nav i do have a band button.

since your tahoe has the xm button already on it, i'd think you would just have to buy the service.  there should be something that tells you what your radio ID is.  i believe the antenna is already integrated on new GM vehicles.

Most GM vehicles and your 2007 Tahoe should be one of them have XM built in. You just need to activate it with the XM company. If you want Sirius you'd need additional equipment.

There are 2 or 3 ways to tell if you already are set up for XM;

1. Is there a funny little XM antenna on your roof? It should be near the front and is about 2-3 inches tall.

2. When you hit the band button on your stereo does it cycle through: FM1, FM 2, AM, CD, XM1 and XM2?

3. Check your original bill of sale for all of the options your vehicle was equiped with. It should list XM or Free Xm for a year, something like that.

if you do not have the factory antenna on top of your tahoe you do not have evrything you need. to add factory like xm it takes a tuner,interface and cable the best place that i found to show you everything you need is at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-2008...
