I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 WT, and I noticed the shock absorbsion when you hit a bump or something...?

is not very smooth. Is that just how it is with these trucks?

  1. All  new chevy trucks ride a little tight when new.Its going to take some time and miles for everything to smooth out.John the factory over fills the tires on new trucks for transfer from the factory.Please check the front and rear tire pressure by the label on the drivers door frame for the proper tire pressure the dealer might not have the correct tire pressure set this will cause the truck to ride really rough.   2. the "wt" model is supposed to have a bit stiffer spring rate...it was designed to be a work truck unlike the sle models. it will let up some over time . enjoy your new truck !

I HAVE A 2008 WHITE SILVERADO WORK TRUCK AND IT DOES FINE ON BUMPS MINE IS SMOOTH AND I DO HEAR A CLUNK WHEN I GO INTO REVERSISE BUT I AM NOT SURE WHAT THAT IS I DONT LIKE MY TRUCK I HOPE YOU LIKE YOURS I THOUGHT MY FLOOR MAT WAS BENT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE I HAVE THE CHEAP WORKTRUCK IT WAS ONLY 11,000 AT PEDIGO IN INDIANA!

  4. just drive it a little bit longer and it will break in my friends dad has a 2007 sierra sle and it is the smoothest ride ever
