  1. you need to eat well for sure. drink alot of water. and visualize your race the way you want it to go


  2. Pace yourself

    Start at 3/4 pace for about 125 m

    The last 75 metres is were you need to bomb it and use the anerobic system (without oxygen) it will last 10 secs so time yourself and how much distance you can cover in 10 secs.

    Also eat foods that release energy straight away foods like bannanas and maybe a glucose drink for the extra energy before the race.

    Another tip is believing your going to win thats where the gold is stashed.

  5. there is no pacing in a 200. You go out as fast as you can but totally relaxed...after 100m when you're full of lactic acid and in pain, is where you show you really want it....

  6. ...in continuation don't drink too much right before you race or else it will slosh around in your stomach making you sick.

  7. To gain some extra energy for tomorrow eat a meal with a lot of carbs at least 24 hours in advance..get plenty of sleep and make sure to have plenty of water before the race so you dont cramp up
