I have a 24V 3000 A rectifier - is there a way to tap into the main buss and ramp individual stations ?

Would like to ramp from 0V up to 24V over a few minutes with a maximum current draw of 500A

if you use a d.c. drive you can. finding one that will operate on 24v buss may be difficult. are you wanting speed control or something where each station needs a speed pot. or just set the ramp and not adjust? anyway you go is going to be some major bucks. post what you are controlling this would help
