  1. A 26"x 2.125" tube should fit.

I don't know , but I think that should be on the sidewall of the tire.

  2. That's funny, I just got a new tube for my 26" ladies Magna bike yesterday. 4.95 for the tube, $10 for the labor.  My tire shows 26 x 1.95

You need a schrader tube, 26 x 1.9-2.2.  This is in inches.

Its been a long time since I changed a tire, so the guy at the bike shop showed me how.  I wanted to make sure that it was done right.  He told me that partially inflate the new tube (to give it shape, to put the schrader nozzle in first so it is correctly aligned with the hole in the rim and then to push in the rest of the tube working around the rim.  He said not to use a flat screwdriver to put the tire back on (could damage tube); try to use your hands instead.

It sounds like a pinched tube, they call a snakebite, that might have happened if there wasn't enough air in the tube and hit the rim.  I just learned that yesterday, too, when he was telling me the type of hole a tire can get.

I had 2 holes in my tube.  It was because it had picked up thorns and went through outside of the tire.
