I have a 2spd power gluide chevy trans that hasnt been used in years. what do i need to do to reuse it?

My plans are to replace the filter and put in some tranny fluid. anything further than that? Its out of a 66 chevy malibu with 69K on it.

Sounds like you have the right plan.  But at least have the old oil flushed out.
