I have a 3 videos on the camera but when I import to computer I cant find them. How do I retrieve them?

  1. Kodak cameras usually create .mov files. Many times, when you use the camera to transfer the files, things don't go quite as you want. Get a card reader, take the memory card out of the camera - put it in the card reader and copy the files... If you are using Windows, you will also need a .mov to .avi or .DV converter.


  2. Your likely using the import features... best chance, when you plug the camera in select "Browse files" instead of "import..."... you will likely see a folder called "DCIM", browse those folders, you should see your video files mixed in with the photos... email me with the camera brand, and I'll try and get more details for you

  3. look under "documents/my videos" the default space for your downloads of .avi files.

  4. You have to do system restore.
