I have a 3 year old female Great dane named Sheena and every time she sees a new or strang dog she attacks it

Wat should i do wen this happens?Wat kind of collar,harness,or dog muzzle or dog halter should i use.She is over 230 lbs and hard to hold back but oncei hallar her name she stopps but its jus she reacts befor i can.Wat could i use to help me controll her better?

get a gentle leader.

thats what i did with a very hyper 80 pound pointer that tried to attack every dog she saw.

she is okay now.

do you ever watch the dog whisperer (national geographic channel)? with ceaser millan? use some of his techniques.... they are kinda hard to explain, but have a friend walk the opposite direction with their calm dog, and when you see them, make sure your dog is paying attention to your walk. if she isn't, make a sound and give a quick tug on her leash.... and keep walking... when walking she should NEVER be in front of you... idk, its kinda hard to explain, so watch the show!!!!

I've owned Great Danes since 1965 and have heard many far-fetched claims as to how much Great Danes weigh, but honey, 230 lbs takes the cake.  I am personally acquainted with male Danes that are legitimately 175 lbs. and they are huge.  At 230 it'd be a major feat if your female could walk, let alone lunge.
