I have a 300ex and want to know if i could beat my friends sportsman 500 EFI in a drag race.?

My quad is manual with clutch and i am a fairly good driver.

off the line, the 300 will probably get a better launch, but after that, the horsepower difference will be in the 500's favor. I gues one thing to ask is the 300ex stock? is the gearing stock? some of that can definatefactor in the 300's favor. I have a 250x that will at top speed beat the sportsman, but it has ALOT of work done to it.

it depends on a lot of things.. 2 stoke, 4 stroke?

in short, probably not. 200 extra cc's is alot to beat. even though his is probably a little heavier, he will still beat you. the only chance you would have would be if his was a 4 stroke, and yours was a 2 stroke, even then it would be a close race though.
