I have a 3m HDMI cable and i have connected my laptop (HDMI compatible) to my TV. I am having problems!!!?

When I play a video file the sound comes out of my laptop but not out of my TV. I want the sound to come just out of the TV. Btw I have a Full HD plasma TV and my laptop is vista operated. Also the visuals are perfectly fine

  1. Might be an output setting in your control panel. Make sure it is set to output audio through the HDMI.
