I have a 4.2 Mbps ADSL internet connection and 440 Kbps Download speed?.........?

yet when i download things the maximum speed it goes is exactly 60 Kbps in Limewire or Bit Torrent or internet explorer download. Is there a way i can increase my limit?

  1. You can't have two separate download speeds.  Is is 4.2 mbps or 440kbps? Your ISP advertises only one of these speeds for your service plan.  Not both.


  2. see if the program is throttoling your connection. other than that, its your isp.
