I have a 47 inch TFT TV, but the picture from sky+ is still to wide for the screen - anyway to adjust this??

For example, the Sky One logo is half off the screen when watching Sky One - surely a modern widescreen TV should be able to display the whole image correctly!!

  1. first make sure the sky box is set to 16:9 in the menu (services - system setup - picture settings - picture format - 16:9) then on your TV remote you will have an aspect button, but the diagram on it will differ depending on the brand of TV, it may be a rectangle with a cross of arrows in the middle, or a box within a rectangle with arrows pointing either side, or it might say "wide" or "aspect" but either way, pressing that button will scroll through your aspect ratios until it's on the right one

P.S if you say the brand of TV it will help!

  2. on ur remote control it should say the word WIDE.. press that in..

  3. Check the TV picture settings.  Set to Auto, sounds as if your setting is for full screen.
