either because there dirty or sweaty if they been playing for a long time in the sun

ask a pool technician because it may be something with chlorine or another chemical, or it could be just a powder rubbing off, either way, ask.

I bet that your pool probably has small debris/dust on the bottom that settles when no one is in the pool. But when the kiddos jump in and stir it up, it makes the water appear cloudy. I bet an hour or so after they get out, it is clear again? You might need to get a more powerful filter/pump, or you might need to backwash the sand filter.
