  1. No, not even close to digital.


  2. It could be. The first digital sets became available Christmas season, 1997.

    Best way to tell is to look at the back of your TV. If there is a set of connectors that are green, blue and red, and they are labeled Y cB cR, then your TV is digital. (Y pB pR is analog)

    IMPORTANT NOTE:

    You do not have a digital tuner however. If you are watching TV from an antenna you will need the $40 coupon from our government, bless their hearts. You will also need another $20 or so since the boxes that will convert for you are running around $60.

  5. most likely not. the only difference between a analog and digital tvs are the tuners.  get one of those digital to analog converters  that PBS has been talking about. you can also get a $40 credit from the government to buy one.
