I have a 5yr old Son and my landlord wants to use bug fogger (I don't have roaches, just carpet bettles)?

Should I be worried...Will I need to wash all of our clothes, dishes linen, Toys...I am not sure I want this done....WORRIED!

just clean your house afterwards, hire a cleaning service if it makes you feel better, wash bed linens, towels and lysol whatever you want lysoled

Find out what kind of bomb he is using, then contact the company and ask them what percautions need to be taken.

Yes, you should be worried not just about your son, but yourself. Find out what the product(s) are that will be used in the fogger then contact your physician or a physician and note the precautions that will be necessary to protect yourselves. Likely nothing other than using what you normally use to disinfect your house as most commercially produced foggers probably must adhere to federal chemical regulations. With that said, contact your son's physician or nurse just to be safe.

She has to let you know  what she is using. There are so many of these foggers out there, that can be fatal. There is no way I would allow it, Your  Son and your family are at risk, of severe breathing difficulities.So check it out..........

Request an exterminator in fear of the dangers a fogger could bring to your 5 yr old.

Inless he wants to pay for all the cleaning of your cloths and stuff... Which I dout.

He is trying to take care of the situation Cheaply...

Yes I would be concerned about my child. I would cover some of the furniture with clear plastic sheets.  You can get it from a hardware store and I think It's used during painting.  You can cut it to the size you need.

If he plans to just us a can of fogger I would object.  You want it done by a professional exterminator.  The professional exterminator will tell you what product he is using and what precautions and cleanup are necessary.  He has a professional license and will be in big trouble if he endangers children or anyone else.

I would not want carpet beetles in my house with my child.

Yes you will have to wash all of his toys and your dishes and table and counter tops

along with wiping off the phone and frig and stove and sink.

Put newspaper over your dishes in your cupboard and over your food in your cupboard and they will be fine.

It will be ok if you wipe everything off.

Check the foggers and see what type of poison is being used. Most of the new ones are not that harmful to humans once it dries....unless your son chews on the carpet. Cover the dishes with thick towel before he fogs the house...You can even use some sheets to cover your couch and chairs. Wash them after he it gone....you need to stay gone for at least 4 hours too.
