I HAVE A SIX MONTH OLD BABY AND HIS FATHER PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSED ME TO THE POINT I HAD TO BE ON DEPRESSION MEDICINE HE REALLY ISNT IN THE CHILDS LIFE BUT NOW THAT HES PAYING CHILD SUPPORT HE WANTS TO SEE OUR SON BUT IM NOT SURE THATS A GOOD IDEA WITH HIM BEING ALONE WITH THE CHILD BECAUSE HE ABUSED ME WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH OUR CHILD IN FRONT OF MY TWO YEAR WHO HAS BEEN TRAMATIZED BY THE WHOLE THING. I HAD TO HAVE MY CHILD EVUALTED BECAUSE HE HAS NIGHTMARES AND HE WONT SLEEP IN HIS OWN BED IF HE SEES A PICTURE OF MY BABYS FATHER HE WILL SAY HE HIT MY MOMMY OR HE FIGHT MY MOMMY AND ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND HE STILLS REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED. HE RECENTLY GOT MARRIED AND HIS WIFE DOESNT REALLY WANT HIM SPEAKING WITH ME AND IM NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK WITH HER OR HIS FAMILY SO I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT WHO MY CHILD IS GOING TO BE AROUND BECAUSE I DONT KNOW ANY OF HIS FAMILY NOR HIS WIFE CAN I GET SUPERVISED VISITATIONS THROUGH A COURT ORDER I HAVE A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST HIM PLEASE HELP!!!!

  1. I am no attorney but I have been through a long custody case for my son so I learned quite a bit. I would say if you have a order of protection against him for you then yes. Don't let his family punk you into thinking you can't. Call a lawyer quick don't wait too long. I had my own lawyer and one for my son a child representative. I also ordered a home visit.I won full custody of my son. You have a shot call okay. Good Luck.

  2. the guy sounds like a jerk and a monster.i wouldn't let him near my kids also.his wife sounds like she doesn't know anything,he probably lied to her.no man wants to admit  he beats anyone.his wife will find out someday when he snaps and hits her.i wouldn't let him near any kid!good luck.but keep as as far away from your kid as possible.

  3. add your child to your domestic violence restraining order, the court will order supervised visitation under the circumstances.  He won't let you speak to his new wife because he wants to surprise her with his mad ability to beat women up, and I am sure he has told her many lies about your relationship.

  4. Yes, you can get supervised visits for your child to see the father. You seem to have a lot of info that will convince a judge to give you this. get a family lawyer to help you.
