  1. Leave him like that all day and have everyone says that he smells. He will be embarrassed and you will win the battle.

  2. I say that it is time he sees a doctor.  This is not normal behavior and he needs evaluated.

  3. I have six boys.. everyone of them has gone in their pants at one time. Boys have a little more difficulty in controlling this compared to girls..( I don't know why). I have noticed that when one of my boys has done this he was engrossed in a activity  that he just waited until the last minute and it was too late. I also have two girls... both of them have done this but very seldom. my youngest two are 6yr & 7yr. They will be playing with trains or cars and before you know it one might be standing there trying to hold it in.. Once they can walk again they will go to the bathroom. Now if he is doing it on purpose I don't know what to tell you except to remind him where he needs to go (bathroom). Don't humiliate him over this. That will cause scaring later on... From what I have learned it is pretty much just a stage and eventually he will grow out of it & control it better.

  4. just say that he NEEDs to use the bathroom or there will be consequences; and no one else his age does it

  5. MAKE SURE HE GOES TO THE BATHROOM if he doesn't go try a small punishment ex:) no dessert after dinner he will eventually he wilol learn that this is embarassing and he will stop give him time

  6. i would see a doctor that could be a problem how does he function at school>

  7. Make sure that he knows this behavior is not acceptable. Lay out the rules for him and let him help with the consequences this worked with my 8 year old. If this doesn't work I would take him to the doctor.

  8. He may have a medical problem.  Do a yahoo search on encoporesis or contact your pediatrician.

  9. find out why he does not want to go? Maybe he does not like the way the toilet paper feels. They make flushable wipes if that is the case

  10. Have him p**p on someone else.

  11. He may have a bowel problem, see your doctor, check it out- l am sure he does not enjoy soiling himself. Don't ignore it, the doctor will be understanding. Good Luck.

  12. I would talk to him about it and ask why he does it and then maybe talk to your pediatrician. He could also do it for attention.

  13. Is he constipated and then when it comes, he can't hold it in?  An appointment is definitely in order with your child's pediatrician - good luck.

  14. Can you give a bit more information? Does he p**p himself because he's too lazy to use the restroom? Does he wait too long and cannot hold it? Does he think he's going to just expel gas and then the "surprise" comes? You're kind of vague in your question.

  15. Is it an accident or is he afraid to go to the bathroom?  Also maybe he just forgets that he has to go to the bathroom until it is too late. Whatever the case is, you must be supportive and understanding. And one thing you must never ever do, is scream or yell at your chid for messing his pants. This will lead to more mental problems down the road.
