  1. Do not, whatever you do, just put bigger fuses in. If you do, then you will damage you amp.

Make sure the amp can handle the load you have connected to them. Maybe you're trying to run them at too low of an impedance? Try wiring  the subs for a higher impedance.

You may need to step up to a bigger amp.

  2. SURE ! YOU CAN ALWAYS GET BIGGER FUSES !!!!![DON"T ]

But your question should be,'Do I need bigger fuses? Check the amperage requirement for the amplifier, and fuse accordingly.

Check all the wiring to make sure you don't have a loose or bare wire. Make sure  there is nothing able to move around in the trunk that makes contact with the electrical connections.   GOOD-LUCK!!

                                     "BRILLIANT"!!!!

  3. chase your wire hook up and make sure your ground is correctly installed. As far as installing a different fuse. You can do it but you take a chance of hurting one of your components. so check with manufacture to check for an update on bigger fuses. But definatly check your gound to make sure it is grounded to the chassis of the car.

  4. one thing you need to d is to take one of those subs out if you run two different size subs the most powerful sub always cancels out the weaker one it is always better to run the same size and type of sub no matter what anybody tells you and that might just take care of you problem

  5. Depending on the wiring, I'd imagine that you are blowing fuses because of the uneven load that you are putting on the amp.

  6. As stated already no dont put in bigger fuses.  What you need to look into is as stated as well, the load you are putting on your subs and such.  Also your electrical system.  Make sure your battery is strong enough and your wiring from your battery to amp etc is the right gague and such.  What brand amp is this?  You are pushing two Different subs?  on the same amp!?  hmmm...it can be done, but if your loads are different it might not be sufficient for your subs.  And under powering them so you keep turning it up and pop goes the fuse.  Or you are overpowering and sending the subs and amp into clipping causing damage to subs and amp.

  7. NO. Do not put bigger fuses on an amp. ALWAYS use the correct fuses that the amp calls for! The entire purpose of an amp using a specific fuse size is so that if something malfunctions, in the case that you are having, it can protect something from happening to the amp.

You obviously should not keep the set-up you are trying to perform. The ohm loads are not matching w/ the amp regardless of the mixed sub configuration. Use only one or the other until you can upgrade properly.

    Follow this wiring guide accordingly.

And if you have a 2 channel 2 ohm stable amp, but only gives a 4 ohm rating in Bridged mode, don't try to bridge w/ a 2 ohm load or you will have similar problems.
