  1. There are online charter schools all over depending on where you live you may be able to find one that can help you. I have home schooled on my own as well as with the help of an online charter school.

My son finished the 8th grade in public school with straight F's and went from that to straight A's and B's being home schooled. Online charter schools are considered the same as public schooling. My son graduated an online charter school and now attends University of Dayton ( a private university ) with scholarships.

Home schooling can work for some. The student needs to be self disciplined enough to do the work and care. Generally less work is involved with an online charter school than in a regular public school. You are also able to work at your own pace. k12 will customize your curriculum and make sure you are where you need to be.

This is the school my other children are now attending,

Depending on where you live they may be a help, if not, there are online charter schools all over.

They will provide you with the computer, printer, supplies and books that you need as well as teachers and academic advisors. This is the same as a public school but ONLINE at home. They will also help you with state required testing that is doen every year.

  2. If your spelling is any indication, I would let the professionals keep on teaching her.

  3. contact your local school district for information about their homeschooling programs

  4. Homeschooling is legal in all 50 states.  To find out what the homeschooling laws are in your state, check out www.nhen.org     Find local homeschoolers in your area by checking Yahoo Groups and typing in you city or state and the words "homeschool" or "homeschooling".  If you live in or near a big town, there's probably a large number of homeschoolers in your area.

  5. You certainly can homeschool your 7-year-old daughter.  I am currently homeschooling my 7-year-old son; I began homeschooling him in November 2006.  It's going extremely well, and he is learning at a phenomenal rate.

You should begin by finding out how to legally homeschool in your state from the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) website; this site also has extensive information on how to get started in homeschooling; the link is below:

    http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp

I would also suggest that you research the different styles of homeschooling; some are as follows:

    1) School at home

    2) Classical education

    3) Charlotte Mason

    5) Eclectic

    6) Unschooling

You can then decide if you want to use a curriculum, purchase one, make your own, use the world as your classroom, etc.

I hope the above information is helpful.

  6. yes you can! just search it up on the enternet near your area!

  7. i think you should let her go to a public school so she can interact with other kids its a good way to build her social skills

  8. You can't even finish your question.  How are you going to home school a child.
