I have a 80G samsung

Question

I have a 80G samsung 2.5" drive in an external case. One night it worked fine the next day no computer even registers that it is present. I have changed cases - hooked it to different computers and still no luck. The green light comes on and then turns red. It will blink once - pause- and then blink 6 times. It continues to repeat that sequence. I would really like to recover the files on it. Any suggestions?
