  1. no but seals are still available for that model, I'd guess about $300 to get the job done, but I do my own so that's just a guess, there's a special tool involved

  2. If you have an on-board air pump for the shocks, you might check the air hoses going to the forks by spraying soapy water on them.

  3. No you have to change the seals. You should rebuild the forks before you cause more damage, the bushings are probably worn also and if you don't address that you will wind up having to replace the entire front end, that's best case, worst case is you crash. You really shouldn't put off fixing critical parts like that, especially on a motorcycle.

  4. nope need new fgork seals

  5. http://www.dansmc.com/forks.htm

go here shows you how to change seals..

  6. No way around it, you need to replace the fork seals.  While apart replace the fork bushings.  How does the front end ride?  It you have had the desire to replace the fork springs, this will be a good time.

Another reason to change the seals soon is the front brakes.  If you get oil on the pads, you will need to replace the brake pads.  This is what I am facing on my Goldwing.  My brakes just weren't working well.  Checked out the front end and discovered the right fork seal leaking and had contaminated the pads and rotor.

    Good Luck

  7. Chopper said it all for me.  Rebuild those forks before you end up killing a couple and their three kids.
