I have a 8gb nano and my mother left it on lock...

Question

i have a 8gb nano and my mother left it on lock without turning it off all night .. this morning i cant get it off of lock and it is set on a song screen and it is stuck just a white screen with the name of a song and up in the upper right corner the lock button is showing , i have tried to unlock it and it is not doing anything .. please help
