I have been giving my kitten the kitten chow, but I bought a bag of the Cat Chow and I want to make sure she can take it and it won't harm her.

  1. I would wait 3 more months until it's a year old. Kitten food has a lot more fat and nutrients in it, and your kitten is still developing.

It probably won't be terrible if you do switch to cat chow. But if you want the best for your baby, keep it on kitten food until it's first birthday.

  2. She is old enough for adult cat food. But give her something higher quality, like Iams. Cat Chow hasn't been reformulated for at least ten years.

  3. Has she gone into heat yet or been spade/nuetered yet, then you can.

  4. I think you can cuz they are almost 1 years old

  5. I'd feed her something higher quality altogether. Purina is a low quality food.

Examples of low quality foods to avoid: Anything you can find in a grocery store will be low end, Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Royal Canin, Whiskas, Fancy Feast, Friskies, Meow Mix.

Examples of high quality foods to look for: Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, Felidae, Fromm, Merrick, GO Natural, Nature's Variety, Nature's Logic.
