I have a 92 boat with OMC outdrive, it was fine last season when I put it away, now it doesnt go in reverse?

This is a common problem.  There are two shift cables. One from the helm to the engine and a second from the engine to the drive.  It's this second cable that has failed.  It, hard to see because it runs under the engine, but if you disconnect this at the engine you can feel the difference in travel from forward to reverse.  It's a good idea to have a pro install the new cable, it takes special tools and skill to get it right .
