Question:

I have a 93 camaro z28 And its bogging down , whats weird is its not a problem when its just starting...

i just replaced the wires and plugs , fuel pump , fuel filter and the air filter...

The car is bogging down i guess like it loose all power to drive for a split second then i can drive it fine but it wont let me put it to the floor it i can just drive it lightly.... but this is only after the car warms up .... any sugjestions ?????

also ... car is over heating ... after driving for a bit ... i dont know what the problem is , except i do know its not leaking anything... and its not a gasket... its running at 240 after a while of driving ... i was thinking thermostat could be stuck but idk , any help would be greatly apreaciated.

  1. I wouldn't trust that temp gauge. You can measure it with a hand held infrared reader. They're cheap or any good shop will have one. If that's a throttle body engine, try running a couple of cans of Chevron Techron or Gumout Fuel Injector cleaner through it. Follow the directions. You may still have low fuel pressure. You need to measure it. Could be a bad ignition coil as well. It can be checked with an ohm meter if you have the specs from the service manual.
