I have a 96 ford escort 1.9 , no spark any suggestions?

replaced coil pak, timing belt, crank and cam sensor, ign relay,computer and fuses. center wire going to coil has power in . when unpluged. when plugged in all 3 have power and still no spark. should all 3 have power ? what could cause this?

  1. Same thing happened on my Explorer, replaced the wiring harness and it fired right up.


  2. what about the module?, did you check that?. if they go bad, you wont go anywhere.

  3. ign module would be my first guess being the pos. volts are going thru the coils. The only thing you're missing is the signal for the ecu to ground the coil
