  1. Not for street use, but if you are trying to add more flex for off road then yes get longer shocks.  I usually go for at least a 1" longer shock then the lift I'm running if I'm going for articulation. With 2" spacers you can clear a 31" or it's metric equivelant tire for street use.


  2. Shocks aren’t needed for 2" spacers... the only problem you will have is when off-road. You will not get the upward articulation you should but you get better downward articulations... if you don’t off-road or mild off-roader your fine but if you are looking for articulation get shocks (better yet get a complete suspension upgrade).
