  1. Here is the number for american honda: 1-800-999-1009.

They said  to get the serial number for the radio you need to:  Put the key in the ignition at the number 2 position which is to have the parking lights on.  Push and hold 1 and 6 at the same time for 10 seconds.  Push power on while holding 1 and 6.  You should get 2 sets of numbers.  Write those down.  Fax the serial number to 310-783-3036.

    Hope this helps!!

If for some reason you get "code erre" on the stereo screen, just call the 800 number above for Honda.  They are very nice there, and they will verify that you are the owner and give you a code to restart the stereo!!

  2. The code usually comes with the packet of stuff the dealer give you (service info, owner's manual, etc), and despite the warning that tells you to keep it separate from the vehicle, most people keep it all together.     I taped my number to the inside of the glove box.

  3. The simplest thing to do is to call the dealership and tell them what you have and they may ask you for the vin# and they will release a code to you that will allow you to use you radio.

  4. The first thing you might want to try is look at the radio registration card that is usually in your glove box, if it is not there then the next place you have to look at is the back of the radio the number sequence is back there, but you have to take apart your dash for that. if you dont want to go through all that hassel call the dealership with your vin number in hand and they should most likely give you the number sequence.
