  1. the usual cause is the amount of pressure grip between your flywheel, disc & pressure plate try checking the adjustment on your pedal maybe the spring on your pressure plate is not fully released or if you have had your flywheel refaced maybe they made wrong measurements.

  2. Incorrect installation and whole lot of RODDING THE **** OUT OF IT!

  3. Many factors affect the clutches life. The amount of stop and go driving, the terrain, the driver, the quality of the part, the service procedures when replaced last time (flywheel machined?) Oil leaks?,  Operator abuse. Adjustments.

Lots of factors, too many to make a diagnosis from what you have explained.

Get your old parts, ( you can tell a lot from them) if you think they screwed up. Have new parts installed, not re manufactured, the cost difference is too small to worry about it.

  4. hope you got a warranty with it, most shops give a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty parts and labor, if you dont, i feel bad for you. could be a cheap clutch installed, bad pilot bearing, lack of having flywheel resurfaced at that time, or shoddy workmanship. I wouldnt worry about it as im sure you got a good warranty

  5. They probably installed it wrong. Ive seen it before.

  6. Number 1 reason for a clutch malfunction is improper installation. Not saying you, but dropping the clutch or driving like a jackass will cause it too.

  7. "Plates are Trashed?" There is only one Plate, "Clutch Pressure Plate" Car is almost 11 Years Old with how many miles? Causes; Bad Pressure Plate w/loose Mounting bolts, Loose Mounting Bolts on the Flywheel and/or warped from Excess Heat. NOTE; Transmission Shop?"
