I have a 99 corrolla the radio just died , but it still shows the stations but no sound +?

what do you think is wrong its not a fuse any help before i buy a new radio, no sound from any speakers the stations change from am to fm the cassette shows its playing

If it truly just died suddenly, try the second fuse as the other member suggested, but also check the main lead wire from the back of the set to a point before it splits off to the two sets of speakers.

that year of toyota should have two fuse boxes,one inside the car,and one under the hood,check for radio or misc on the fuse department. also check for a loose ground wire for the radio,sometimes it will show power but not enough to complete the circuit.
