I have a 99 kawasaki mojave 4wheeler with a shifting problem i high rpms?

i have a 99 mojave rear wheel drive only and when i am racing down the road i have to hold the clucth in for a minute till the motor wines down for it to shift if i dont it will not go into the next gear any help would be nice thanks

you may need to adjust your clutch check the manual

are you sure, alot of 4 wheelers dont have a true clutch, and you have to let the rpms drop as you shift
