I have a Black Nintendo DS Lite that stopped working?

I haven't played my DS for over a month, but when i tried to play it earlier the DS couldn't detect the game in the welcome screen. What is wrong with my DS and what can I do to fix it?

Take your game out and blow on it.  Then below in the game slot.  That may do the trick.
