  1. I had the same problem a few months ago and I had to get a new phone :( sorry but mine was under warranty so it was replaced for free.

  2. I don't think the guy at AT&T is right. I have a BlackJack which is pretty much the same thing, and I had the same problem. Turned out the charger was in a weird position and I fixed it easily (after 2 weeks).

If it's not your charger, then it could definitely be your battery. Have you tried taking it out and putting it back in? That helps for me sometimes when my phone won't turn on.

  3. battery

  4. I guess the big question is can you sync with your PC from the USB port?  Typically when a usb port decides to come off the PCB more then one pin comes off and power supply lines are a heck of a lot more tolerant to an intermittent open then data lines.  Try applying light upwards (toward screen) pressure on the USB cable as it's attached and see if it shows it charging.  If you are able to transfer data with no problem and applying light pressure doesn't help it's probably either the battery or the charging circuit.

  5. I would agree it is most likely the battery. However there have been times where if you drop your phone the connection from the battery to the phone gets messed up.  I would try opening the phone taking the battery out and then put it back in and if still doesnt charge buy a new battery.

  6. your usb port is likely broken when you plug the phone in to charge can u wiggle the plug then it is broken at least a 50 dollar fix
