I have a Blue Ray disc but unable to play in my dvd machine. Why?

Blue-ray disc can play in play station 3 console, and a Blue-ray disc player.

Blue Ray is latest technology by Sony & Group. the disc codec will not be read by normal DVD Machine. Blue Ray disc's will play only in Blue ray players which are compatabile.

You need a Blue Ray player for playing Blue Ray disc.

Because a DVD player uses red laser while a Blu-ray disk requires a blue laser to read the disk.

DVD players cannot play Blu-ray disks.

its because the bluray disc has to be read by a blue lens (blu lens bluray, hmmm? where did they get the name)

If it's a regular dvd player it won't work, you need a special blue-ray compatible player.

u need a blu ray player and they are expensive unless u have a ps3 and they play blu ray discs
