I have a Cali license, im 16 my mom wont let drive alone...?

because im not her insurance but she will let me drive when shes in the car if i were to get into an accident when she was in the car would be responible

i only asked this question because with the permit the parent can claim responibilty

In my state the driver must have insurance, it may be differnt in Cali and the fact you are under 18, consult an insurance agent or the DMV for more answers.

well actually the person responsible for the accident will be the person driving the car.  Exceptions if the passenger was trying to do something to the driver so that would make it both their faults?
