  1. Yes it's worth a loonie....take a closer look....2010 Winter Olympics will be held in Vancouver,BC

  2. U*nless it say olympics  it may be counterfit  take it to a bank

  3. Google around, maybe call the Canadian Mint... I doubt it, but maybe it's counterfeit.

  4. It a special one to do with the Olympics in Vancouver? I doubt it's a real loonie my friend, Normally they never post-date them. Since they release new ones every year....

Take it to the bank and see what they say.

    is this it? http://members.shaw.ca/kcic1/coins/2010l...

    looks legit to me!

  5. It's worth a trip to the local jail if you try using it

    ;)

  6. Wow, MAJOR TYPO!

  7. How can it be labled 2010?? it's only 2008...unless the coin means the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC, even though i only know quarters that have them.

  8. If it does not have anything to do with the olympics, be careful taking it to the bank because if it is counterfeit, they will take it and not give it back.  They will not reimburse the value either.

  9. It may just be an Olympic coin...Vancouver 2010...I have an Olympic quarter in the pocket of my sweater.

Look on the side with the Queen on it...that's the front of the coin.  The year on there is the year it was made.  The other side with a loon or sometimes a promotional character, like with the Olympic coins, can show another date...but the official date stamp is shown with the Queen.

  10. Are you a time traveller?  What are the next week 649 numbers?
